Why We Started

RM Outpost grew out of our love for the outdoors and our drive to build something meaningful. In 2025, I (Ray) lost my dad, whose passion for fishing shaped much of my own. Creating the Gone Fishing Collection became a way to honor him — while sharing the same joy he found on the water.

Michelle brings years of retail experience and an eye for products that combine quality and personality. Together, we wanted to create a store that blends gear we’d actually use with apparel that makes people smile.

More Than One Business

RM Outpost isn’t our only venture. We also run an active real estate business in Middle Tennessee — helping families buy, sell, and invest in homes. That background gave us our small-business service mindset, and it continues to inspire the digital products and guides we build alongside our outdoor collections.

How We Operate

RM Outpost uses a hybrid fulfillment model — meaning we stock certain products in the U.S., create others on demand, and partner with a few trusted suppliers overseas. This setup keeps our catalog fresh and our prices fair without overpromising what we can deliver.

• U.S.-based inventory: stocked gear and accessories that ship fast (usually 3–8 business days).
• Print-on-demand apparel: made to order after you purchase, typically ships within a few days.
• International partner items: specialty products that ship directly from our overseas partners (10–15 days, max 20).

Each product page clearly lists its shipping type and estimated delivery window, so you always know what to expect before checkout.

When we’re not running businesses, we’re exploring parks, hiking, fishing, or traveling. RM Outpost reflects those passions — practical products for outdoor folks, and designs that don’t take life too seriously.
